It's official, D Generation are finally back to play some headline shows! Tickets for these shows are already on sale at: Irving Plaza, NYC - www.livenation.com Troubadour, LA - www.ticketfly.com There will also be some shows in Spain but as yet no dates have been officially announced, although it is expected that they will be playing Madrid September 3... This may change! This news has also seen the launch of an official D Generation website at www.dgeneration.us, the first official D Generation website in over 10 years, where you can find news on where to buy your tickets... At last, for the first time since 1999 you can now buy official D Generation TShirts! There are three designs each costing $16 plus P+P and they are available from www.shopshogun.com. They are printed on quality Gildan Ringspun TShirts for a softer feel and come in five different sizes. The quality of the design and printing looks identical to my original TShirt. As a rough guide to anyone from the UK considering buying one of these TShirts, I bought a Medium which would fit a 40" chest perfectly. Often American TShirts sizes run bigger than UK but these Gildan Ringspun TShirts are very similar to the UK sizes.
Jesse Malin is interviewed in the latest issue of Bubblegum Slut Magazine, a UK based magazine dealing in Glam, Sleaze, Punk, Goth, Deathrock and Rockabilly. D Generation reunited on Thursday, April 17th to play a one-off show, almost 9 years to the day since they split up! They played the following 3 song set: No Way Out The five original members, Jesse Malin, Richard Bacchus, Howie Pyro, Danny Sage and Michael Wildwood, played at John Varvatos boutique located at 315 Bowery (the space that formerly housed the seminal underground music club CBGB’s). Some video footage from the evening can be seen here. Below are 2 photos taken by Randal Haecker. More of Randal's photos of D Generation can be viewed on flickr here.
Webster Hall in New York City have made an offer to D Generation for a full show this summer but as yet the band are undecided!

Apparently the 5 members (Jesse Malin, Richard Bacchus, Danny Sage, Howie Pyro, Michael Wildwood) did meet up to discuss the possibility of a New Year's Eve show as a benefit for their former roadie Michael Sticca, but unfortunately the meeting proved fruitless & the show is NOT going to happen!
